  1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website sgbwellness.com (the “Website”) and the referral service offered by SGB Wellness (“SGB Wellness”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operating from Thane, Maharashtra, India.

SGB Wellness operates as a referral and introduction service. We connect individuals seeking homeopathic consultation with independent, qualified homeopathy doctors affiliated with us. SGB Wellness does not itself provide medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions.

By submitting your contact details through the Website or otherwise engaging with SGB Wellness, you (“you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or submit your details to us. If you are submitting details on behalf of a minor or dependent, you confirm you are their parent/legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

  1. Nature of Our Service

SGB Wellness’s role is limited strictly to the following:

  • Collecting your name and contact details (phone number and/or email) via the Website or other enquiry channels
  • Forwarding your name and contact details to an independent homeopathy doctor affiliated with SGB Wellness (“the Doctor”), for the purpose of initiating a consultation
SGB Wellness does not:
  • Provide any medical consultation, diagnosis, case-taking, treatment, or prescription
  • Collect, view, or store any health information, medical history, or clinical data about you
  • Collect, process, or hold any payment on your behalf or on behalf of the Doctor
  • Send you a consent form, questionnaire, prescription, or medicines
  • Direct, supervise, or control the Doctor’s clinical judgment, advice, or treatment decisions
  1. How the Process Works

For transparency, the typical process following submission of your contact details is as follows. Each step from (b) onward is conducted directly between you and the Doctor, independent of SGB Wellness:

  1. You submit your name and contact details to SGB Wellness via the Website or another enquiry channel.
  2. SGB Wellness forwards your contact details to an affiliated Doctor.
  3. The Doctor contacts you directly (typically by phone) to understand your requirement.
  4. The Doctor sends you a consent and patient registration form directly.
  5. You pay a registration fee directly to the Doctor, using payment details/methods the Doctor provides. SGB Wellness is not involved in, and has no visibility into, this payment.
  6. The Doctor sends you a questionnaire and conducts case-taking directly with you.
  7. Following payment, the Doctor sends your prescription and homeopathic medicines, typically by courier, directly to you.

SGB Wellness is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, any step from (c) onward. Any agreement, consent, payment, prescription, or treatment arising from these steps is strictly between you and the Doctor.

  1. No Medical Advice or Guarantee
  • SGB Wellness is not a healthcare provider, clinic, or clinical establishment. Nothing on the Website or communicated by SGB Wellness constitutes medical advice.
  • SGB Wellness does not guarantee that a Doctor will contact you within any specific time, that a consultation will take place, or any outcome of a consultation or treatment.
  • SGB Wellness makes reasonable efforts to work with qualified, registered homeopathy doctors, but does not independently verify each Doctor’s registration, qualifications, or professional conduct on an ongoing basis, and does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any consultation, diagnosis, treatment, or prescription provided by the Doctor.
  • In case of a medical emergency, do not wait for a callback from a Doctor. Contact your nearest hospital or dial 108/102 immediately.
  1. Doctor’s Sole Responsibility
  • The Doctor you are referred to is an independent medical professional, not an employee, agent, or representative of SGB Wellness.
  • The Doctor is solely and entirely responsible for all aspects of your consultation and treatment, including but not limited to: clinical assessment, case-taking, diagnosis, obtaining informed consent, prescription, dispensing and courier of medicines, data collected through the consent/registration form and questionnaire, and the collection of any fees or payments from you.
  • The Doctor bears sole responsibility for all outcomes of treatment, including any adverse effects, misdiagnosis, treatment failure, or dissatisfaction with the service provided.
  • Any dispute regarding the consultation, treatment, prescription, medicines, payment, or refund must be raised directly with the Doctor. SGB Wellness will, where reasonably possible, assist in facilitating communication with the Doctor, but is not responsible for resolving such disputes.
  1. Payments

SGB Wellness does not collect, process, hold, or have visibility into any payment made by you. All fees — including registration fees, consultation fees, and any charges for medicines — are payable directly by you to the Doctor, through payment methods and terms communicated to you by the Doctor. Questions regarding fees, receipts, or refunds should be directed to the Doctor.

  1. Your Information
  • SGB Wellness collects only your name and contact details (phone number and/or email address) for the sole purpose of forwarding them to a Doctor.
  • We do not collect your health information, medical history, payment details, or any other personal data beyond what is necessary to make the referral.
  • Full details of how we handle your contact information are set out in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. Once your details are forwarded to the Doctor, the Doctor’s own collection and use of your information (including health data, consent forms, and payment details) is governed by the Doctor’s own practices, and SGB Wellness has no control over or responsibility for it.
  1. Your Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date contact details when submitting an enquiry
  • Independently verify the credentials of the Doctor you are referred to, if desired, before proceeding with consultation, payment, or treatment
  • Engage directly and diligently with the Doctor for all aspects of consultation, consent, payment, and treatment
  • In the event of a medical emergency, seek immediate emergency care rather than relying on the referral process
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, SGB Wellness’s liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited strictly to the act of accurately forwarding the contact details you submit to an affiliated Doctor.
  • SGB Wellness shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or adverse outcome arising from the Doctor’s consultation, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, medicines, courier delivery, data handling, or payment collection, all of which are the Doctor’s sole responsibility.
  • SGB Wellness shall not be liable for any delay or failure by the Doctor to contact you, or for the Doctor’s conduct, availability, or professionalism.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
  1. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, and the SGB Wellness name and marks — is the property of SGB Wellness or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

  1. Grievance Redressal

For grievances relating to the referral process itself (e.g., your contact details were not forwarded, or you did not hear back from a Doctor within a reasonable time), contact:

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and respond within 15 working days. Grievances relating to a consultation, treatment, prescription, medicines, or payment must be raised directly with the concerned Doctor, as SGB Wellness is not party to that relationship.

  1. Termination of Service

SGB Wellness reserves the right to decline to forward your details to a Doctor, or to discontinue offering the referral service to you, at its discretion, including in cases of misuse, fraudulent information, or abusive conduct.

  1. Amendments to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. The updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the grievance redressal process above, any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
